Simplify sample preparation for agarose gel electrophoreis and save time. SLS’ 6X Gel Loading Dye is a concentrated premixed DNA sample loading buffer formulated with electrophoresis tracking dye bromophenol blue and Xylene Cyanol. In a 1% agarose gel the Bromophenol Blue tracking dye is expected to migrate at approximately 500 bp while xylene cyanol migrates at about 4 to 5 kilobase pair DNA fragment. This DNA loading dye comes in a 6X concentration in a glycerol and Tris buffer. Simply dliute your sample to 1X and load onto the gel.
