RNASafe is an aqueous, non-toxic tissue storage solution that penetrates tissue quickly to preserve and stabilize cellular RNA in situ in specimens that have not been frozen. Without compromising the quantity or quality of RNA, tissue slices are cut and promptly immersed in RNASafe for storage. Tissue specimens no longer need to be processed right away or frozen in liquid nitrogen for processing at a later time thanks to RNASafe. Tissues can be preserved using RNASafe for up to one day at 37 °C, one week at 25 °C, and one month at 4 °C. Additionally, tissues can be kept for an extended period of time at -20 °C.
